European Interns, 2003
These interns from Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland and Bulgaria are all involved with government activities in their countries. They have an interest in how city and county governments are structured here. While here they stayed in the homes of Newton citizens. During the day they visited the city and county governmental operations. Some spent some time at the local schools.
The second group of five were here later for a two week period and they followed the same schedule as did the first group.
Diana Turlakova of Stata Zogora, Bulgaria stayed with the Carol and Fritz Kramer family
Laszlo Szalkai from Veszprem, Hungary stayed with Helen and Verle Kooistra home
Darina Baranchikova who is from Humenne, Slovakia stayed in the home of Carolyn and Donald Hobbs
Waclav Prazuch who is from Tarnow, Poland stayed in the home of Helen & Verle Kooistra
Uliana Kiosseva from Karcjah, Bulgaria stayed with the Judy and Tom Rodewald family
Laszlo Diossy from Veszprem, Hungary stayed with the Jane Ann and Curran Cotton family
Galina Lopatova from Snina, Slovakia stayed at the home of Rochelle and John Dugan family
Cezary Przeczek of Tuchow, Poland stayed with the family of Nancy and Tom Mott
David Cafnik from Maribor, Slovenia and stayed with the family of Nancy and Tom Mott
