OPEN - Newton’s sister-city organization - is pleased to announce the success of the 2009 Pysanka Project. Expanding on the success of the 2008 program, this culture project, featuring Lyudmyla Melnyk, provided nearly two thousand residents of central Iowa with the opportunity to learn about the art of pysanka.
